What is an Infrared Home Inspection?
Infrared thermography is a non-contact, non-destructive test method that utilizes a thermal imager
to detect, display and record thermal patterns and temperatures across the surface of an object.
Infrared thermography may be applied to any situation where knowledge of thermal profiles and
temperatures will provide meaningful data about a system, object or process. Infrared is the newest
technology used in industry for pest detection, water infiltration, mold detection and electrical
components. This technology also allows the thermographer to assess the insulation levels of a
home without destroying one piece of wall material. So whether you are looking to purchase a new
or used home or check your existing home make sure you call Mr. Inspections first!!!
